Norfolk

A 17th Century Dutch gable ended farmhouse with contemporary wings either side to create a new walled garden for entertaining. The Garden provides shelter from the North Norfolk winds. Corten steel edged beds giving a sense of balance: their symmetry echoing off the original building. The central beds are planted with a myriad of perennials, roses, shrubs and bell clipped hornbeams. Espalier fruit trees around the walls of the garden, including medlars and figs. What was once a barren area of grass is now a haven for wildlife. With invertebrates, toads, butterflies and pollenating insects.
